Anti-discrimination Clinic

On 12. 10. 2011:

So, this is the way we work

One-semester course called Anti-discrimination clinic mainly has to help the students with orientation in an issue over-reaching more areas of law and to provide them with a complex view on the problem of discrimination as a chosen area of human rights protection. Students work in small groups and in co-operation with the teachers, they solve specific examples of discrimination conduct which has direct impact on threatening individual rights and freedoms. Using this form, students broaden their skills of searching, analyzing and using legal means of protecting victims of discriminatory actions.

With respect to merits of the subject, teaching is carried out in an interactive form. Practical examples which have occurred and have been resolved demonstrate particular steps taken in the problems that arise in practice the most often. The course is one-semester long and it opens in summer and winter semester.
